Julie Lammers

Executive Vice President at American Student Assistance

Julie Lammers is ASA’s Executive Vice President. In this role, Julie is charged with driving the organization’s mission to transform education systems and create lasting change in career readiness for middle and high school students. Julie provides strategic oversight and management to ASA’s philanthropy, policy, research, marketing, and strategic communications efforts and is responsible for promoting ASA’s priorities to external stakeholders.  Julie has held multiple leadership roles at ASA since joining the organization in 2010.

Prior to ASA, Julie spent more than nine years as Congressional Aide to U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy and his successor, Senator Paul Kirk, Jr. managing public outreach to constituent groups on national policy related to education, the arts, environment and welfare issues. Julie is a graduate of Northeastern University, Suffolk University Law School, and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
