Exhibit 2

The region sees a greater interest in student wellbeing, holistic approaches to intellectual & social development, and a move to more personalized learning.

This year sees many EdTech startups focusing on supporting learners’ creative development, social-emotional learning, and other non-academic content, such as Haoduo (China), an online platform for children’s hobby classes or Inspire High (Japan) a platform for creative adults, vipSing (China), an online music platform and Yixiaoxiang, chess education for kids (China). These are in addition to strong levels of academic tutoring and homework help (such as RiiiD, Snapask, Mathpresso, Knowbox, Onuii) learning code (Elice, Codegym, Xigua Chuangke, Life is Tech) and language learning (Palfish, Polyglots, Ringle, HelloTalk, Eggbun).

Direct-to-Consumer models dominate in East Asia, however like other regions of the world, B2B growth is evident.

A growth in EdTech management systems is largely responsible for the increase in B2B models in this year's list, as companies and institutions seek digital platforms and tools to support hybrid and online learning. Examples include Kidsloop classroom analytics solution, Classum learning environment and Classin, a platform for hybrid learning.

Exhibit 4

China represents just under half the list with Japan and Korea almost 20% each and Taiwan over 10%.

Regulatory changes in the academic tutoring market in China over the last few years have dampened activity and posed significant challenges for startups in this large segment. As such we see a reduction in the proportion of Chinese startups in this year's list with solid growth in areas such as vocational education Runde Education, Sanjieke, Tiantian Xuenong and Hechen Education. Both Korea and Japan take almost 20% each of the list, with Workforce EdTech solutions strong.
