The Climate Tech landscape in the European Region is currently experiencing the fastest growth, with VC funding value totaling $10.5B, out of which more than half is attributed to the Storage & Distribution, Renewables, and Circular Economy subsectors. Reasonably so, as these three subsectors also collectively led the Europe Climate Tech 200 list, where most startups operate in the Battery Energy Storage, Solar Energy, and Sustainable Materials clusters. Food Systems experienced a decline while the UK and France collectively accounted for slightly over 60% of the startups.
